White Chameleon

This semi-fictional memory play which deals with such matters as how he came to be teaching the Egyptian Cross-Channel swimming team their own national anthem; with his artistic and political education; with his family and his friendship with the company servant, Ibrahim, an alcoholic bigamist and philosopher of distinction; and with his pet chameleon, is unlike anything he has ever written before.
