The Path of Dreams

In this romantic fantasy, inspired by the Japanese tradition of the arranged marriage, Elaine Chieko Packard and Connor McKenzie have met only once, yet find themselves in the thrall of passionate dreams they cannot control. They decide to resolve the tension between the moral strictures of their religion and their own overpowering emotions by eloping.Except that their married life has barely begun when they start reliving, in both dreams and reality, many of the same conflicts their parents and grandparents once did. They finally realize that they won't be able to move forward with their lives until they have addressed the unsettled obligations of the past, and turn the "hearts of the children to their fathers."
