Saint Francis and the Wolf

This retelling of one of the lesser known of Saint Francis of Assisi's lessons centers on the great wolf of Gubbio, a ferocious canine who terrified a town, slowly reducing it to penury and starvation. Brother Francis hears of their plight and, with his tenderness, tames the wolf.
