Over in the Grasslands

Over in the Grasslands is a brightly colored appealing picture book that shows groups of African baby animals (warthogs, rhinos, lions, etc.) frolicking with their mothers. After a child and caregiver have read the rhyme and counted the animals, the last two pages of the book offer a quick refresher course in the numbers 1-10. This is a colorful delight.
