This book was commissioned by Pioneer Books to add to an arguably neglected part of The History of South Australian Literature by Paul Depasquale.It considers the way in which the literary canon is defined and how that relates to a writer like Franc. It suggests new ways of looking at how we assess literature and how that applies in this case.
