Life Itself

The town of Santa Ana needs a Police Chief--the last two were murdered. Assured that he is too famous to be killed, popular crime fiction writer Jose Fierro agrees to be their successor. When he's called upon to solve the murder of an American photographer, he discovers another suspicious death and--like life itself--the more he learns, the less he knows.
