Into the Land of the Unicorns

When Cara and her grandmother are pursued into St. Christopher's Church by a mysterious hunter, Cara's grandmother entrusts her with a crystal amulet that contains hair from a unicorn's mane. With the amulet in hand, Cara crosses from our world into Luster--the world to which the unicorns fled when earth became too dangerous for them. Now, in the company of a rebellious young unicorn named Lightfoot, a strange, bear like creature called the Dimbletheum; and a scampering ball of mischief known as the Squijum, Cara must cross the wilds of Luster to deliver her grandmother's last message to the queen. But who is hunting her? Any why? Not even the magic of Luster can prepare Cara for the stunning answer that awaits her at the end of her journey.
