Grannis of the Fifth: A Story of St. Timothy's

Alfred Grannis arrives at St. Timothy's School with a desire to follow in the footsteps of his father who had been one of the leading athletes and students at St. Timothy's. He quickly and easily fits into the pattern of school life and soon makes numerous friends among his classmates and masters. Daniel Todd, who at first seems to be a boaster and a poor sport, becomes Grannis' closest friend and soon shos his true personality through his unselfish devotion to Grannis.How Grannis and Todd become an unbeatable team in all the school sports - baseball, football, hockey, etc. - and win the admiration of the whole school through their good sportsmanship and athletic ability is told in an exciting manner.
