Aha and the Jewel of Mystery

When Aha, first domesticated cat of ancient Egypt, falls asleep in a bag of grain, little does he know that this bag of grain is part of a caravan, bound for the land of Sumer, far across the desert.Along the way, Aha meets Tork, the runaway slave boy, and Soni, the slave girl. There is mystery surrounding Tork's birth. And what is the meaning of the jeweled collar that aha wears? The cat has never allowed himself to show too much affection toward humans - friendship if for the birds - but he finds that the boy and girl protect him even though they are in danger themselves. And besides, sometimes it's nice to let them scratch that good-feeling spot behind his ears.
