Author Bio: Michael Hachey was born in Superior, Wisconsin and raised near Detroit, Michigan, where he obtained an engineering degree from Wayne State University. For the last fourteen years he has made his home in Hudson, Wisconsin, where he operates an engineering consulting business and sails on the St. Croix with his wife Kathie. He has attended writing classes and seminars at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, and is a member of a small writer's group. A Matter of Motive is Michael's first book.
