Pierre de Tournay's theft of papers incriminating Courtney Ruthgard's father in an illegal scheme prompts Courtney to take revenge. She infiltrates the King's Guard posing as a Musketeer. For Pierre, the arrival of Courtney's cousin in the Guard is a godsend, but when a dangerous rebellion throws them together, Pierre leans his new comrade is none other than the woman he loves.
